Dear friends, on May 1, 2018 Chris began a new job with a terrific family-owned media company in northeast Oregon as a regional newspaper publisher.
This is a dream job – one that easily convinced him to return to the industry he loves without hesitation. Consequently, Chris and Sheryl are putting their restaurant business in Reedsport for sale. A 7+ hour drive to Pendleton is just too long of a commute!
Many of you have supported us in this endeavor in so many ways and we cannot say thank you enough. We would love to see a local investor take over and continue to build upon what we have started. We poured our heart and souls into it, but Chris has come to realize that he is a better newspaperman than restauranteur.
Current plans call for Sheryl and staff to operate as usual through Saturday, June 30, with our new hours, 8am until 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday. We will still take special orders for baked goods as we are able to fulfill them and we will honor all unredeemed gift cards until that time. We will not, however, be issuing any new gift cards.
We will also be honoring all space rentals already on the calendar and will consider future rentals up until June 23, 2018.
Thank you all for your support and continued patronage until we move onto our new adventure.
